This will be a short one, it contains the arc with the guy in the chest. It was a mini adventure of Luffy and Nami. I must say that Nami is the only person in the crew besides Luffy to have met this guy, i like the notion of them having common friends.
41) Exploring the island together.
42) Nami finds out something New about Luffy. She seems relieved Luffy didn’t get shot.
43) Nami still can’t believe in Luffy’s groundless confidence
44) Luffy being a bit savage here, lol
45) I liked this shoulder touch.
46) Nami can’t believe Luffy’s actions here
47) But she realizes soon that it’s out of kindness… I like how gently she says his name. Obviously this is Not the first occasion, nor the last.
So there. As I’ve said, it’s a short one, but even here we had certain development of their bond, especially from Nami’s side. Everything is being built up nicelly.
* But I advise you to watch LearningJapanese!! Like this guy literally taught me from Kana to Intermediate Grammar, which has been a very good improvement
Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi (35) will be starring in a historical film entitled Shinobi no Kunidue to premiere summer next year. This will be Ohno’s first ninja role on the big screen. Filming will begin sometime in July this year. Ohno is currently undergoing intensive training in sword fighting, specifically dagger fighting techniques using both hands.
Wada Ryou (46), the author of the bestselling novel, is also known for Nobou no Shiro - a historical novel which became a hit movie in 2012. Shinobi no Kuni illustrates the epic battle between Oda Nobunaga and Iga-ninja. Ohno will take on the role of Mumon - a lazy, flighty character who displays extraordinary strength on the battlefield, thus earning him the nickname “Iga’s top ninja”. He’ll be running up walls, throwing shuriken, displaying sharp movements which only a ninja can do while running around fighting enemies left and right.
Ohno currently appears on the NTV drama Sekaiichi Muzukashii Koi as the president of a top hotel chain. Ohno tells us with great enthusiasm, “From being a president, I’ll become a ninja. They’re two totally different roles. I’m taking on this role to be able to show a new side of me!”. Although Ohno starred in a historical play entitled Sengokupuu in 2003, this will be his first time starring in a historical film. In 2011, he starred in the film adaptation of Kaibutsu-kun where he worked with director Nakamura - the director of the upcoming historical film. Ohno says, “There will be many action and fighting scenes. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with director Nakamura. I will work hard in order to meet his creative expectations.”
Nakamura tells us, “Mumon has an unconventional way of thinking which manifests in his actions. I can relate myself with him. Ohno’s fit for the role. I think this is going to be one interesting film.”
“Ninja versus Feudal Warlord” - the battle between two direct opponents creates a ground-breaking setting for the film. Some international film distributors have already expressed interest in the film. Director Nakamura eyes international film festivals for the film’s screening. “I’ll create a ninja movie no one’s ever seen before.”, Nakamura says with utmost confidence.
